Miss Mischief Wins Bessarabian Stakes at Woodbine

Las Vegas, NV - The $200,000 Grade 2 Bessarabian Stakes went down at Woodbine in beautiful Toronto, Ontario on Sunday, November 15 - a seven furlong test for older fillies and mares on Woodbine's All Weather Track. Diane Manning's 5-1 shot Miss Mischief posted her first graded stakes score and second straight stakes win overall - this time by 2 1/4 lengths over 20-1 longshot Paddle Board. 3-1 second choice Elusive Collection finished third while Ontario Fashion Stakes winner Cactus Kris closed from last in the seven-horse field to finish fourth. Skylander Girl, Endless Light, and 5-2 favorite Marbre Rose completed the order of finish.
