In a thrilling photo-finish, it was 6-5 race favorite Melmich that prevailed over two-time Sovereign Award winner and 5-2 morning line second choice Are You Kidding Me. Gigantic Breeze finished third, a half-length behind at 6-1 odds in the field of seven while 4-1 third choice Unbridled Juan, Secret Passage, Keen Gizmo and Bear'sway competed the order of finish.
