2012 Special Stakes Race Favorites

Spurious Precision - looked very impressive in his debut on July 21 on this track during a Maiden Special Weight score. He ran extremely well in that race for trainer Richard Violette and has to be considered one of the favorites along with...

Shanghai Bobby - Todd Pletcher trained Shanghai Bobby has gone two-for-two in his career breaking maiden on April 19 at Aqueduct and following that up with an impressive win last time out in the Track Barron Stakes at Belmont Park on June 27. Shanghai Bobby looks good and should provide some serious completion for the field on Sunday.
