Las Vegas, NV - Gulfstream Park in Hallandale, Florida will be the scene of the Grade 2 Inside Information Stakes this Sunday, March 17. Fillies and mares four years old and upward will be after the winner's share of the $150,000 purse when they dash seven furlongs on Gulfstream's dirt track.

A large and competitive field of 10 older females will in up in the Inside Information - race 10 on Gulfstream's Sunday card. Post time is 5:35 PM. Here is a glance into the past performances of all 10 combatants ahead of this Grade 2 stakes.

2013 Inside Information Stakes Race Favorites

Golden Mystery - Marty Wolfson trainee enters the Insider Information on a two race win streak - a terrific score last time out by 3 1/2 lengths in the Grade 3 Hurricane Bertie over Emma' Encore followed a 5 1/4 length win in the Florida Sunshine Millions Filly and Mare Sprint over Emma`s Encore and R Holiday Mood here January 19. Before that she had four second place finishes in seven starts including the Mike Sherman Memorial ahead of Nakano October 6, a pair of Allowance Optional Claiming races in the summer, the Grade 3 Sugar Swirl Stakes on this track December 8 and at the Ocala Stakes here December 30. Golden Mystery has been on fire and with two straight impressive wins on this track she has to be on the radar for Sunday.

Emma's Encore - won two minor races in February and March but then fell off a tad. She rebounded from an unflattering spring stretch in a big way however recording victories in two straight - the Grade 3 Victory Ride Stakes at Belmont Park on July 7 at 38-1 odds and at the Grade 1 Prioress Stakes at Saratoga on August 4. Next were another couple of poor results - a sixth in the Grade 2 Gallant Bloom was followed by an eighth in the Grade 2 Thoroughbred Club of America Stakes at Keeneland October 6. Last time out was a disappointing fifth in the Grade 3 Hurricane Bertie February 10 after a second behind Golden Mystery on this track January 19 in the Florida Sunshine Millions Filly and Mare Sprint.

Inside Information Stakes 2013 | Remaining Field Entries

Spectacular Sky - had a three race win streak in the summer at Calder including the minor Barb`s Dancer Stakes and the Whippleton Stakes and looked very good before a disappointing sixth in the Grade 2 Chilukki Stakes at Churchill Downs November 3. Last time out she returned to her winning ways - a win in the minor Manatee Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs February 9. Having four wins in the last five starts has Spectacular Sky looking good for the Inside Information although her best results came against lesser competition.

Nakano - graded stakes placed and stakes winner Nakano had success in 2012 placing in eight straight with two wins including the minor Connie Ann Stakes at Calder September 3, one second and five third place finishes. She was fourth two back in an Allowance Optional Claiming here January 27 but recorded a good third last time out in the Grade 3 Hurricane Bertie here February 10. Nakano has been at or near the top in every race the last year plus and could challenge this Sunday.

Catch a Thief - multiple graded stakes placed and multiple stakes winner Catch a Thief had a very nice second place finish in the Bed o' Roses Stakes at Belmont on July 1 to follow a decent third in the Grade 3 Distaff Stakes at Pimlico and a win in the minor Plugged Nickel Stakes at Aqueduct. She followed that with a distant eighth in the Grade 2 Molly Pitcher at Monmouth back on July 29 and another eighth in the Grade 3 Turn back the Alarm Stakes at Belmont Park October 27. Last time out was an OK fourth in the Hurricane Bertie here after a second in the minor Geisha Stakes at Laurel Park November 22.

Starship Truffles - races in graded stakes company for the first time Sunday but enters the Inside Information on a five race win streak - two Starter Allowance races, the Starter Stakes here December 1, a Starter Optional Claiming by 5 3/4 lengths on this track January 13 and an Allowance Optional Claiming at Gulfstream February 15. She has won nine of her last 11 starts but takes a huge step up in competition Sunday.

Aubby K - has only six career starts with two wins and a third place finish. Her graded stakes action resulted in a reasonable fourth in the Grade 2 Pocahontas Stakes at Churchill Downs in October, a decent third in the Grade 1 Acorn Stakes at Belmont on May 28, an OK fourth in the Grade 2 Delaware Oaks and last time out - an eighth in the Grade 1 Test Stakes at Saratoga way back on August 25. She has been out of action since that time and figures to be out of her league in her first race in seven months.

Burban - has just four career starts for trainer Eddie Kenneally with three straight wins and a second in her debut. Last time out came nearly a year ago - an Allowance score at Churchill Downs.

Prize Informant - has 30 career starts for trainer David Brownlee but no graded stakes action. Last time out was an Allowance Optional Claiming score here January 20 after a twelfth and a sixth in similar races preceded that win.

Ice Cream Silence - had been on quite a role before a lengthy layoff with three wins and a second in her last four starts. After a second and a sixth place finish to start her career, Ice Cream Silence has rattled off three straight wins including the minor Optimistic Gal Stakes at Churchill Downs in May. Last time out was a nice second in the Iowa Stakes way back in June - the last race that she participated in.
