Las Vegas, NV - Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York will be the scene of the Grade 2 Adirondack Stakes this Sunday, August 11. Two year old fillies will be featured as they dash 6 1/2 furlongs on Saratoga's dirt track searching for the winner's share of the $200,000 purse.

A field of seven juvenile females will line up in the Adirondack - race 9 on Saratoga's Sunday schedule. Post time is 5:12 PM. Let's take a brief glance into the limited past performances of all seven entries for this Grade 2 stakes.

2013 Adirondack Stakes Race Favorites

Fiftyshadesofgold - began her career at Lone Star and posted a MSW victory by an impressive 10 lengths in that race. The Bret Calhoun trained filly next stepped up into stakes company and won the minor Debutante Stakes by an equally impressive eight lengths at Churchill Downs June 22. She is the co-highweight at 122 pounds, is the 7-5 favorite in her graded stakes debut and will have Corey Lanerie in the saddle.

Untapable - Steve Asmussen trained filly has just one career start and she made it a good one - a MSW score at Churchill Downs June 20. She will have Rosie Napravnik who rode her in her only career start in the saddle and is the 3-1 second choice on the morning line.

Who's in Town - Michael Matz trained filly is one in a long line of entries with just one career start and one MSW win. Her score came at Delaware Park July 15. Joel Rosario will get the mount on the 4-1 third choice.

Thank You Marylou - Michael Maker trained filly won her only career start - the minor Tippett Stakes at Colonial Downs July 13. She is listed at 6-1 odds on the morning line and could seriously challenge this week. She will have Alan Garcia in the saddle.

Designer Legs - has two career starts and two wins for trainer Gary Scherer. She started her career with a nice MSW score at Canterbury Park June 28 and most recently won the minor Prairie Gold Lassie Stakes at Prairie Meadows July 20. She is an intriguing 10-1 on the morning line with Shaun Bridgoham in the saddle.

Charmed Hour - her only career start came at Ellis Park - a MSW score June 14 for trainer Kenneth McPeek.

Hop the Six - is the most experienced filly in the field and she has just three career starts for trainer Ron Potts. She started her career with a second in a MSW at Presque Isle Downs and has reeled off two straight wins - the biggest coming last time out in the minor White Clay Creek Stakes by 3 1/2 lengths at Delaware Park July 27. She is currently listed as the longest shot in the field at 15-1 odds with Hall of Fame jockey Edgar Prado in the saddle.
