Las Vegas, NV - Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York will play host to the Grade 1 Spinaway Stakes this Sunday, September 1. Two year old fillies will take to Saratoga's dirt track and sprint seven furlongs looking for the winner's portion of the $300,000 purse.

Sweet Whiskey - Todd Pletcher trained filly has just one career start and it was a good one - a 5 1/2 furlong MSW score by an impressive 5 1/4 lengths at Saratoga August 11. She starts from the far outside post with John Velazquez in the saddle and is currently the 2-1 favorite on the morning line. Pletcher hopes the pressure of stakes action won't get the best of her.

Stopchargingmaria - another Todd Pletcher trained filly has just one career start - a wire-to-wire MSW score on this track July 19. She promises to bring the speed to the Spinaway, is the 3-1 second choice on the morning line and breaks from post 6 with Javier Castellano guiding her.

Brazen Persuasion - Steve Asmussen trained filly has three career starts - a second in her debut, a six furlong MSW score by 4 3/4 lengths June 29 at Churchill Downs and last time out - an impressive win in the Grade 3 Schuylerville Stakes on this track July 19 - a draw with Bahnah who is also entered in this race. She looked terrific in July and has ramped up the hype in a big way ahead of the Spinaway. She departs from the rail with Rosie Napravnik in the saddle as the 5-1 third choice on the morning line.

Bahnah - Bret Calhoun trained filly will take to the track for her third career start Sunday but is coming off a very impressive outing - a win in the Grade 3 Schuylerville Stakes in a dead heat with Brazen Persuasion at Saratoga July 19. This after a 4 1/2 furlong MSW score by 4 1/2 lengths in her debut at Churchill Downs June 6. She will line up in gate two - right beside Brazen Persuasion and is being sent off at 6-1 odds.

Sweet Reason - is just another of the entries for the Spinaway with one career start and one win. Sweet Reason's was a MSW score August 9 at Saratoga. She is 8-1 on the morning line and departs from post 4.

Designer Legs - impressive Dallas Stewart trained filly has three wins in three career starts - two stakes wins ahead of the Spinaway Stakes. Last time out was a terrific win in the Grade 2 Adirondack Stakes by DQ at Saratoga August 11 after a win in the minor Prairie Gold Lassie Stakes. Despite the success, she is listed at 12-1 odds Sunday.

Dancing House - has just one career start for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin - a MSW score at Saratoga July 31. She goes off at 12-1 odds.

Art of the Game - Nick Zito trained filly has two MSW starts in her career - both on this track. She was fourth in her debut July 19 but bounced back last time out with a win August 18. Art of the Game is the second longest shot in the field at 15-1 odds and leaves from post 7.

True Blue Nation - Thomas Albertini pupil started her career with a five furlong MSW score by 5 1/4 lengths at 17-1 odds at Belmont Park June 21. Her stakes debut however didn't exactly go as planned - a sixth in the Grade 3 Schuylerville Stakes here July 19. She leaves from post 8 Sunday as the longest shot in the field at 20-1.
