Toasting - started her career with three straight MSW races with a win in the third. She was a very nice third in the Grade 1 Frizette Stakes behind Dreaming of Julia at Belmont Park in October 2012 but was fifth in the Joe O'Farrell Juvenile Fillies Stakes at Calder November 10. Last year she had an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Gulfstream February 15, a third in the OBS Championship (Filly Division) Stakes at Ocala Training Center March 11 and was third again in the Grade 2 Black-Eyed Susan Stakes behind Marathon Lady May 17. She finished fourth in the Grade 1 Mother Goose and won the Dream Rush Stakes at Belmont Park October 20. Last time out Toasting was a good second in the Grade 3 Comely Stakes at Aqueduct November 30, missing by a head. She has three wins, two seconds and four thirds in 13 career starts. Toasting is the 9-5 morning line favorite and will have Jose Ortiz aboard from post 2.

My Pal Chrisy - Martin Wolfson trained mare entered the Go for Wand at Aqueduct on a three race win streak including the Millions Distaff Preview Stakes November 9, the minor Musical Romance Stakes and the Pasadena Stakes - all results at Gulfstream. She went on to a third in the Grade 2 Go For Wand and was third recently in the Ocala Stakes here December 29. She also had a good stretch in the summer at Calder - the highlight being a third in the Grade 1 Princess Rooney Handicap July 6. My Pal Chrisy has three wins, a second and five third place finishes in 11 starts last year and is in the best form of her 43 race career. She has just two wins in 24 career starts - an Allowance here in July and a Maiden Claiming at Calder in May. She also had a fourth three back in the Millions Distaff Preview but hasn't looked great otherwise.
