Las Vegas, NV - Hastings Racecourse in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia will be the scene of the Grade 3 Ballerina Stakes on Monday, October 13 - Thanksgiving Day in Canada. She makes her graded stakes debut Monday with Frank Perez Fuentes in the saddle from the rail.

Madeira Park - defending champion in this race will make just her second graded stakes start Monday for trainer David Forster. Last time out was a third as 3-5 favorite in the minor Delta Colleen Handicap September 14 after a three race win streak - an Allowance Optional Claiming August 29, an Allowance August 3 and in the minor Monashee Handicap in July. She will try to repeat in this race and enters in good form. Madeira Park will depart from post 4 Monday with Rico Walcott in the irons.
