Gary Stevens will be in the saddle Monday as Pontchatrain stretches out to one mile.
Stormy Lucy - had an ugly eleventh in the 2012 Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf and was forced into a seven month layoff. She returned to action June 9 to a fourth in the minor Redondo Beach Stakes here and followed that with a fifth in the Grade 2 Royal Heroine also in July. Stormy Lucy had a win by four lengths in the minor Miss America Stakes October 19 at Golden Gate but followed that with an eighth in the Grade 1 Matriarch at Hollywood Park December 1. Last time out was a very good second behind Customer Base in the Grade 3 Robert J. Frankel here December 29. She appears to be trending in the right direction with a win and a second in her last three starts and will be looking for her first graded stakes score Monday. Isaias Enriquez will be aboard from post 9.
Tapicat - legendary Bill Mott sends out Tapicat who has four wins, a second and two third place finishes in nine career starts.
