Las Vegas, NV - Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Kentucky will be the scene of the Grade 1 Juddmonte Spinster Stakes on Sunday, October 4. Fillies and mares three years old and upward will take to Keeneland's dirt track and race 1 1/8 miles for a purse of $500,000.

Nine older females will take part in the Juddmonte Spinster - race 9 on Keeneland's Sunday schedule. Post time is 5:45 PM. Here is a peek into the past performances of all nine combatants for this Grade 1 stakes - a Breeders' Cup "Win and You're In" race to the $2 million Longines Breeders' Cup Distaff Oct. 30 at Keeneland.

2015 Juddmonte Spinster Stakes Race Favorite Entries

Untapable - five-time Grade 1 winner, Steve Asmussen trained reigning 3-year-old champion filly had four straight graded stakes scores to start 2014 - the Grade 1 Mother Goose June 28, by 4 1/2 lengths, the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks May 2, the Grade 2 Fair Ground Oaks March 29 and the Grade 3 Rachel Alexandra Stakes on that same track in February. She followed that with a disappointing fifth in the Grade 1 Haskell - her worst performance since an eighth in the 2013 Breeders' Cup. She has been very good the last 13 months - three wins, three seconds and a third place finish. She enters off an OK third in the Grade 1 Personal Ensign Stakes at Saratoga August 29 after two straight runner-up finishes - behind Stopchargingmaria in the Grade 3 Shuvee Handicap here August 2 and the Grade 1 Ogden Phipps Stakes in June. Before that she had a win in the Grade 1 Apple Blossom Handicap, a second in the Grade 1 Azeri Stakes and a career highlight win in the Breeders' Cup Distaff. Untapable now has an impressive nine wins, three seconds and two third place finishes in 16 career starts and is expected to be competitive again Sunday from post 3. The legendary John Velazquez gets the call in Untapable's Keeneland debut.

Lovely Maria - Larry Jones trained filly has four wins and three second place finishes in 10 career starts but hasn't looked great lately - a sixth last time out in the Grade 1 Alabama Stakes August 22 at Saratoga followed a fifth as 1-5 favorite in the Grade 3 Delaware Oaks July 11. Before those disappointments were a terrific win in the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks, a victory in the Grade 1 Ashland Stakes at here April 4, a good second in her graded stakes debut - the Grade 3 Rachel Alexandra Stakes at Fair Grounds February 21 and an Allowance Optional Claiming score in wire-to-wire fashion January 25. Lovely Maria had been virtually untouchable in 2015 before her last two starts and will be in search of a strong bounce back when she leaves from the rail with Kerwin Clark guiding her.

Frivolous - has 22 career starts for trainer Victoria Oliver with five wins, four seconds and three third place finishes and enters having posted two wins and a second place finish in her last three starts. Last time out was a win by 12 lengths in the minor Locust Grove Stakes at Churchill Downs September 12 after a second in the Grade 1 Delaware Handicap in July and a good win at 32-1 odds in the Grade 2 Fleur de Lis Handicap at Churchill Downs June 13. Those results followed a disappointing ninth in the Grade 1 La Troienne Stakes, a sixth in an Allowance Optional Claiming in April and another good win in the Grade 2 Falls City Handicap to end her 2014 campaign. Frivolous has been a tad inconsistent but seems to be on a serious upward trend ahead of this weekend. Jon Kenton Court gets the call from the outside post 9.

Got Lucky - has five wins and six second place finishes in 15 career starts for trainer Todd Pletcher and enters off a decent second in the Grade 1 Personal Ensign Stakes August 29 and a nice two race win streak - the minor Lady's Secret Stakes August 2 and the Grade 3 Molly Pitcher Stakes July 3 - both results at Monmouth Park by a combined 10 lengths. She also has three runner-up finishes in graded stakes action in 2013/2014. Got Lucky is in the best form of her career ahead of this weekend and could be a sneaky threat after three wins and two seconds place finish in six starts this year. Irad Ortiz has the mount from gate 4.

Flashy American - won the Grade 3 Sixty Sails Handicap in April of last year for trainer Kenneth McPeek - the last time she tasted victory. She hasn't been great lately while placing in just three of her last 10 starts. Last time out was an OK second in the minor Locust Grove Stakes at Churchill Downs September 12 after an ugly eleventh in the Grade 3 Groupie Doll Stakes August 8, a fourth in the Grade 1 Delaware Handicap and a second in the minor Iowa Distaff at Prairie Meadows June 26. She also had a decent second in the Grade 3 Bayakoa Stakes in February. Flashy American looks for her first win in 18 months Saturday but enters in less-than-spectacular form. Corey Lanerie gets the call from post 5.

Yahilwa - had 13 starts in Britain with two wins, a second and four third place finishes before her North American debut - a fourth in an Allowance Optional Claiming January 26, 2014. She has since raced in graded stakes company 10 times and has placed in four - a second last time out in the Grade 1 Clement L. Hirsch Stake at Del Mar August 1 and a win four starts back in the Grade 3 Sixty Sails Handicap at Hawthorne being her best career results. She also posted a runner-up finish in the Grade 3 Distaff Stakes at Pimlico May 15 and two straight wins - the $200,000 Treasure Chest Stakes at Delta Downs November 22 and a 3 1/2 length score as favorite in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Santa Anita October 29. She now has 29 career starts with six wins, five seconds and four third place finishes and enters having placed in three of her last four starts overall. James Graham has the mount on tough-to-figure-out Yahilwa from gate 6.

Mei Ling - Todd Pletcher trained filly makes her graded stakes debut Sunday but enters in pretty good form. She arrives on the heels of consecutive wins - the minor Lighthouse Stakes September 7 at Monmouth Park and an Allowance at Saratoga in August. Before that was a second and a third in Allowance races at Belmont Park early in the summer. Mei Ling takes a huge step up in competition but looks more than ready. Javier Castellano has been tabbed to ride from post 7.

Diva's Diamond - has placed in five straight races ahead of this race - a third last time out in the minor Locust Grove Stakes September 12 followed consecutive minor stakes scores - the Iowa Distaff in June and the Wild Rose Stakes in May. Before that was a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming and a good second in the Grade 1 Apple Blossom Handicap at Oaklawn Park in April. Diva's Diamond has 11 wins, 14 seconds and six third place finishes in 42 career starts and enters in the best form of her career. Colby Hernandez rides from gate 8.

Tiz Windy - Carl Nafzger trained mare has four wins and four third place finishes in her last 13 starts overall and enters on the heels of a disappointing sixth in the Grade 1 Personal Ensign Stakes at Saratoga August 29. Before that were consecutive third place finishes - the Grade 3 Shuvee Handicap August 2 at Saratoga and the Grade 2 Fleur de Lis Handicap in June at Churchill Downs. She failed to place in her previous four starts however. Tiz Windy won the Grade 2 Indiana Oaks in October and had an Allowance Optional Claiming score last September but has been mostly up and down in her career. She looks for her first win in nearly a year Saturday and enters in sketchy form. Brian Joseph Hernandez will be in the saddle from gate 2.
