She enters off a good second behind Spanish Queen in the Grade 1 American Oaks May 30 on Santa Anita turf after a career best effort - a gate-to-wire win in the Grade 3 Edgewood Stakes at this distance at Churchill Downs May 1 in her first start on turf. Those results followed an ugly seventh in the Grade 3 Fantasy Stakes April 4, a fourth in an Allowance in March and a second behind champion Take Charge Brandi in the Grade 1 Starlet Stakes at Los Alamitos in December. Lady Zuzu looked good before last time out and will be looking for a strong bounce back Friday. Corey Lanerie has been tabbed to ride from gate 8.
