Miss Temple City - has placed in five of six career starts for trainer Graham Motion but comes off her only off-the-board finish - an OK fourth at 50-1 odds in the prestigious Group 1 Coronation Stakes overseas at Ascot in June. Before that was a win in the minor Hilltop Stakes at Pimlico May 14, a good second in the Grade 3 Appalachian Stakes at Keeneland in April and a third in the Grade 3 Sweetest Chant Stakes at Gulfstream in January. Miss Temple City has been competitive virtually every time out but looks to avenge her only questionable effort and to record her first graded stakes score from post 3 with the legendary John Velazquez guiding her.

Consumer Credit - Chad Brown trained filly has nine career starts with four wins, two seconds and a third place finish. She enters having won four of her last seven starts - the minor Memories of Silver Stakes at Aqueduct April 23 and a three race win streak - by a length in the Grade 3 Sweetest Chant Stakes in January, in the minor Wait a While Stakes by a dominant 3 3/4 lengths November 29 and a maiden score by 2 1/4 lengths in her third career start. She enters off her worst performance in quite some time however - a sixth in the Grade 1 Belmont Oaks Invitational July 4 which followed a third place finish in the Grade 1 American Oaks at Santa Anita May 30. She also had a respectable second in the Grade 3 Florida Oaks March 7 the last five months. Consumer Credit had looked good in her career before last time out and will be looking to bounce back - from the rail with Irad Ortiz in the saddle.

Lake Placid Stakes 2015 | Remaining Contenders

Strict Compliance - Chad Brown trained filly made her graded stakes debut last time out and finished in a dead heat for fourth in the Grade 1 Belmont Oaks Invitational July 4. Before that she posted three wins and a second place finish in four prior career starts including a three race win streak earlier this year - the minor Penn Oaks May 30, an Allowance score at Keeneland April 19 and a maiden score in March in her second career start. Strict Compliance looks to bounce back from a career worst effort last time out and tries for her first graded stakes score Friday - from post 5 with Javier Castellano in the reins.

Sentiero Italia - has four career starts for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin with two wins. She made her stakes debut last time out and finished an OK fourth in the Grade 1 Belmont Oaks Invitational. That followed an Allowance score by two lengths May 28 and a maiden score April 19 - in her second career start - both results against older horses. Joel Rosario has been tabbed with accomplishing a stakes breakthrough for Sentiero Italia from gate 4.

Heath - Bill Mott trained filly will make her graded stakes debut having recorded two wins, a second and a third place finish in six career starts. She enters off a respectable second to the terrific Lady Eli in the minor Wonder Again Stakes at Belmont Park May 31 which followed two straight wins - an Allowance score at Keeneland in April being her career best. Heath has looked good the last five months but takes an enormous step up in competition Friday - from gate 2 with Jose Lezcano aboard.

Embellish the Lace - Main Track Only entry - Anthony Dutrow trained filly has four career starts with two wins. Last time out was an ugly ninth place finish in the Grade 1 Mother Goose Stakes at Belmont Park June 27 after an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Pimlico June 4 and a maiden score at Parx in December - those two wins coming by a combined 23 1/2 lengths. If she does indeed start Embellish the Lace will be motivated to erase the memory of her poor outing last time out.
