He also had a close fourth in the competitive Sam F. Davis Stakes in January and a good second in his stakes debut - behind Bluegrass Singer in the minor Mucho Macho Man Stakes at Gulfstream Park January 3. Billy's Star 15/1 - Roger Attfield pupil will race in graded stakes company for the first time having recorded a win and a third place finish in six career starts. He broke maiden two starts back in May and was a disappointing sixth last time out in the minor Plate Trial Stakes here June 14. Billy's Star has three stakes starts and has failed to place in any. Woodbine's leading rider Eurico Rosa Da Silva has been tabbed with changing all of that when he leaves from post 5 Saturday.

Sweet Grass Creek 20/1 - has five career starts - all on this track with a win and a second place finish. He broke maiden two starts back May 18 and was second last time out in an Allowance June 6. He makes his stakes debut off a third and a second respectively in a pair of Allowance races here the last two months, a fifth in a similar race in April and a maiden score in November. She has failed to place in her last two starts however - both Allowance races at Churchill Downs.
