Wavell Avenue 6-5 - Chad Brown trained mare has placed in 10 of 15 career starts - six wins, a second and three third place finishes and finished second in the Eclipse Award voting for Female Sprinter. Last time out was a disappointing fourth as favorite in the Grade 1 Humana Distaff at Churchill Downs May 7 after an OK third in the Grade 1 Madison Stakes at Keeneland April 9 and a career defining win at 10-1 odds in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint. Before that was a decent second in the Grade 2 Gallant Bloom Stakes at Belmont Park September 26 and an Allowance Optional Claiming score August 26. Wavell Avenue has been just OK since her Breeders' Cup triumph and will be out to regain that form on a track she's posted two wins and a second place finish in four starts - from gate 2 Saturday. Joel Rosario rides the 123 pound highweight and overwhelming 6-5 favorite.
West Coast Chick 3-1 - Nicholas Zito trained mare has three wins, two seconds and a third place finish in 11 career starts. She enters off a career-best second in the Grade 3 Vagrancy Handicap on this track May 21 which followed an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Keeneland April 8 and a second and a third respectively in similar races at Gulfstream earlier this year. West Coast Chick has placed in her last four starts overall and will be after her first stakes score Saturday from gate 4. Manuel Franco has been tabbed to ride the second betting choice from gate 4.

Bar of Gold 4-1 - won her first three career starts - all at Aqueduct for trainer John Kimmel and has been up and down in eight starts since. She enters off a nice win in the minor Critical Eye Stakes at Belmont Park May 30 which followed an OK third in the Grade 3 Distaff Handicap at Aqueduct April 17, a disappointing sixth in the Grade 2 Inside Information Stakes at Gulfstream Park March 19 and three straight runner-up finishes - the Grade 2 Lexus Raven Run Stakes October 17, the Grade 2 Prioress Stakes at Saratoga September 6 and in the Grade 1 Test Stakes on that track in August. She now has four wins, three seconds and a third place finish in 11 career starts. Bar of Gold looks for her first ever graded stakes score and second straight stakes victory overall Saturday when she leaves from post 3 with Junior Alvarado aboard.
By the Moon 6-1 - winner of the 2014 Grade 1 Frizette Stakes - Michelle Nevin trained filly has three wins, three seconds and a third place finish in 10 career starts. She was last seen running fourth in the Grade 3 Distaff Handicap at Aqueduct April 17 which followed a third in the Grade 1 Test Stakes at Saratoga August 8 and consecutive runner-up finishes - the Grade 1 Acorn Stakes last June 6 at Belmont Park and the minor Parx Oaks in May of last year. She also had a win in the minor Caesar's Wish Stakes in March and off-the-board finishes in two other graded stakes races - a fifth in the Grade 2 Forward Gal and an eighth in the 2014 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies. By the Moon has placed in four of her last five starts overall but looks for her first win in 16 months Saturday when she leaves from the rail with Jose Ortiz aboard .
Mayla 10-1 - Bret Calhoun trained filly has placed in nine of 11 career starts - four wins, three seconds and two third place finishes. She makes her graded stakes debut on the heels of a nice three race win streak - an Allowance Optional Claiming at Churchill Downs May 28, the minor Orleans Stakes at Delta Downs November 21 and an Allowance here in October. Before that were two straight runner-up finishes in Allowance races. Maya has been trending upward ahead of this race and will be after her fourth straight victory Saturday. Luis Saez has the mount from post 5.
Pangburn 12-1 - Anthony Dutrow trained filly has recorded some decent results in her 14 race career - four wins, two seconds and two third place finishes. She finished second in the 2014 Grade 2 Pocahontas Stakes in her second career start, was second in the 2015 Grade 3 Iowa Oaks in June and also finished third in the Grade 3 Honeybee Stakes in March, 2015. Last time out was an OK third in the minor Heavenly Prize Invitational Stakes at Aqueduct March 5 after a nice win in the minor Maryland Racing Media Stakes in February and off-the-board finishes in a trio of stakes races including a ninth in the Grade 3 Comely Stakes in November and a seventh in the Grade 1 Cotillion Stakes in September. Pangburn has been a tad difficult to figure out but chases her first graded stakes score in decent form. Eric Cancel has the mount from the outside gate 6.
