Three Rules - impressive Jose Pinchin trained colt has six career starts and five wins - all wins at Gulfstream Park. He stepped into graded stakes company for the first time in November and finished an OK sixth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile after wins in the minor Florida Sire In Reality Stakes October 1, the Florida Sire Affirmed Stakes September 3, the Florida Sire Dr. Fager Stakes August 6, the minor Birdonthewire Stakes July 2 and a maiden score at first asking in June. Three Rules was sensational early in his career, is undefeated in five starts at Gulfstream, has been training very well ahead of this weekend and will be after another terrific score from post 3 Saturday. Sonic Mule - Todd Pletcher trained colt has seven career starts and has placed in all - four wins, a second and two third place finishes. He enters on a nice three race win streak - the minor Mucho Macho Man Stakes last time out January 7, the minor Buffalo Man Stakes December 10 - both at Gulfstream Park and an Allowance Optional Claiming at Gulfstream Park West November 3. His only graded stakes result to date was a third in the G2 Saratoga Special in August. Sonic Mule has been a factor in every career start so far and is expected to be again Saturday from gate 2 with John Velazquez aboard.

Favorable Outcome - will race for the fourth time for trainer Chad Brown having posted a nice six length win in his first career start - a six furlong race at Saratoga August 20, an OK third in his first action - the G1 Champagne Stakes at Belmont Park October 8 and a disappointing twelfth last time out in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf last time out. He tries for his first stakes score Saturday and for a strong bounce back off an uncharacteristic effort. Javier Castellano will be in the saddle from gate 4.

Vanish - Mark Casse trained colt has a win and a second place finish in his three career starts - all at Woodbine. He makes his graded stakes debut Saturday off a fourth in the minor Display Stakes December 3, a nice win in the restricted Clarendon Stakes November 5 and a second in his debut in September. Vanish has been decent so far and will be out for a career-best effort from post 5 Saturday. Joel Rosario gets the call in Vanish's dirt debut.

Derek's Smile - has two career starts for trainer Kelly Breen with two good wins. He makes his stakes debut Saturday off an Allowance Optional Claiming score on this track December 30 and a maiden score at first asking - at Parx June 111. Derek's Smile hasn't been touched so far and hopes to continue that trend from the rail Saturday. Emisael Jaramillo has been tabbed to ride.

Impressive Edge - Dale Romans trained colt has just one win in his three career starts. He finished sixth in his first two career starts and finally broke maiden by 4 3/4 lengths last time out - on this track January 15. Impressive Edge had been mostly underwhelming before last time out and will need a special effort Saturday in order to contend. Luis Saez rides from the outside gate 6.
