She's a Warrior 9-5
She's a Warrior - posted her first win in her eighth career start after the first seven produced three seconds and three third place finishes. She has been just OK in five starts since. Last time out was a fourth in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Del Mar July 27 which followed a fifth in the G1 Allaire Dupont Distaff Stakes at Pimlico May 19, an Allowance Optional Claiming score here April 14, an eighth in a similar race on this track in October and a respectable third in the G3 Torrey Pines Stakes at Del Mar in August. Other results include a seventh in the G2 Black-Eyed Susan Stakes last May 20, a third behind the terrific Songbird in the 2016 G3 Santa Anita Oaks and another third behind Songbird in the G2 Las Virgenes Stakes February 6. She's a Warrior has been decent in her career against some top-quality fields and will be after a first stakes score Sunday from post 5. Mario Gutierrez rides the tepid morning line favorite.
Citizen Kitty 5-2
Has seven wins, five seconds and five third-place finishes in 25 career starts for trainer Jeffrey Metz. She steps into graded stakes company for the first time Sunday off an OK second in the minor WA Cup Filly and Mare Stakes at Emerald Downs August 27, an two straight minor stakes scores at Emerald Downs - the Emerald Distaff August 13 and the Boeing Stakes July 16. She posted three wins and three seconds in her previous six starts as well including a win on this track in the minor Hastings Stakes in May as well. Citizen Kitty steps up in good form and will leave from gate 2 Sunday with David Lopez guiding the second betting choice.

Victress 9-2
Defending runner-up in this race has placed in six of nine career starts for trainer Robert Gilker - three wins and three second-place finishes. Last time out was a second in the minor Delta Colleen Handicap on this track September 9 after a sixth in the minor Emerald Distaff at Emerald Downs August 13, a good win in the minor Monashee Handicap here July 2 and a seventh in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Santa Anita in January. Victress has shown form in the past and will chase a first stakes score from the outside gate 7 Sunday. Amadeo Perez get the call on the morning line third choice.
Notis the Jewell 5-1
Has four wins and a third-place finish in nine career starts for trainer William McLaren - four wins in six starts this year - all at Hastings. She arrives on a very nice three-race win streak - the minor Delta Colleen Handicap September 9, the minor Pacific Customs Brokers Distaff Handicap August 7 and a Waiver Claiming July 15. She failed to place in her previous two starts however - both Claiming races. Notis the Jewell arrives in career-best form and will leave from gate 4 with Richard Harvey Hamel aboard.
Yukon Belle 8-1
Has 10 career starts for trainer Barbara Head and has placed in all - three wins, four seconds and three third-place finishes - all on this track. She races in graded stakes company for the first time Sunday on the heels of consecutive seconds - the listed British Columbia Oaks last time out September 9 and an Allowance August 21. Before that was a third in the minor Hong Kong Jockey Club Handicap August 7, a second in the minor Supernatural Handicap July 15 and an Allowance Optional Claiming score June 3. In 2016 she won the minor CTHS Sales Stakes at first asking in August and the listed Fantasy Stakes last October. Yukon Belle has been competitive every time out and hopes to be again in her step up in competition with Antonio Ambrosio Reyes in the irons from post 3.

Robert Anderson trained mare has 17 career starts with four wins, four seconds and two third-place finishes - all on this track. She finished fifth in this race last year and has been OK since - a third last time out in the minor Delta Colleen Handicap September 9 followed a second in the Pacific Customs Brokers Distaff Handicap August 7, a fourth in the minor Monashee Handicap July 2, a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming June 17 and an OK second in the minor British Columbia Cup Distaff Handicap last October. She arrives off a third in the minor CTHS Sales Stakes here August 25 which followed a fourth in the minor Pacific Customs Brokers Distaff Handicap on this track August 7. Before that was a second in the minor Boeing Stakes at Emerald Downs July 17, a seventh in an Allowance Optional Claiming here June 18 and a nice win in the minor Irish Day Stakes at Emerald Downs in May, 2016. Princess Katie steps up in so-so form and will leave from gate 6 Sunday with Silvino Morales in the irons.
