2017 Lake George Stakes Entries at Saratoga Race Course

Fifty Five 7-2

Has hit the board in all seven career starts for trainer Chad Brown - three wins, a second and three third place finishes. Last time out was an OK second behind Belmont Oaks winner New Money Honey in the G3 Wonder Again Stakes at Belmont Park June 8 which followed a third in the minor Memories of Silver Stakes at Aqueduct April 23 and a career-defining win in the G3 Florida Oaks at Tampa Bay March 11. Before that was a third in the G3 Sweetest Chant Stakes at Gulfstream February 4 and two straight wins - the best of which coming in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Gulfstream January 1. Fifty Five has been a factor in every career start so far and is expected to be again Saturday. Jose Ortiz is scheduled to ride the tepid morning line favorite from the rail.

Sweeping Paddy 4-1

Dale Romans trained filly has two wins, a second and two third place finishes in nine career starts. Dream Dancing 9-2

Mark Casse trained filly has three wins, two seconds and a third place finish in 10 career starts - she has looked terrific at times in her career. Last time out was an OK third right behind Fifty Five in the G3 Wonder Again Stakes at Belmont Park June 8 after a second in the G3 Edgewood Stakes at Churchill Downs May 5, a fourth in the G3 Appalachian Stakes at Keeneland April 13 and two straight wins - the best of which coming in the G3 Herecomesthebride Stakes at Gulfstream Park in March. Dream Dancing has been a tad inconsistent lately but has placed in four of her last five starts ahead of this weekend. She shoots for a second graded stakes score from the outside post 11 with Julien Leparoux in the irons.

Proctor's Ledge 6-1

Brendan Walsh trained filly has two wins, a second and a third-place finish in her six career starts. Last time out was a good second in the G3 Regret Stakes at Churchill Downs June 17 which followed a fourth in the G3 Edgewood Stakes on that track May 5 and a third in the G3 Appalachian Stakes at Keeneland April 13. She won her two previous starts including an Allowance Optional Claiming at Gulfstream Park in February. Proctor's Ledge has been knocking on the door of a first stakes win and hopes to get it Friday from gate 8 with Javier Castellano guiding her.

Party Boat 6-1

Graham Motion trained filly has placed in seven of nine career starts - four wins, a second and a third-place finish. Last time out was an OK second in the minor Penn Oaks June 3 after a nice win over Fifty Five in the minor Memories Of Silver Stakes at Aqueduct April 23, a decent third in the G3 Herecomesthebride Stakes at Gulfstream Park March 4 and a sixth in the minor Ginger Brew Stakes in January. She won three straight starts before that including the minor Wait a While Stakes at Gulfstream Park in December and an Allowance in October. Party Boat has been competitive so far and will be after a career-defining win from post 7 Friday. Joel Rosario has the mount.

Victory to Victory 8-1

Sovereign Award winner as Canada's 2016 Champion 2-Year-Old Filly has two wins and a second-place finish in six career starts for trainer Mark Casse. She won the G1 Natalma Stakes at Woodbine September 18 and followed that with an Allowance score at Keeneland April 23. She has struggled in her last two starts however - a fifth last time out in the minor Alywow Stakes at Woodbine June 11 followed a fourth in the minor Hilltop Stakes at Pimlico May 19. Victory to Victory hopes to return to her form that saw her emerge as the best two-year-old filly in Canada while snapping a two-race losing streak when she departs from post 10 with Florent Geroux in the reins.

Defiant Honor 10-1

Has four career starts for trainer James Toner with two wins and a second-place finish. Last time out was a one-length Allowance score at Belmont Park June 21 which followed a respectable graded stakes debut - a second after leading most of the way in the G3 Jimmy Durante Stakes at Del Mar in November, a maiden score at Belmont Park in October and a sixth in her debut in September. Defiant Honor has been decent in her career so far and will be after a first stakes score from post 3 Friday. John Velazquez has been tabbed to ride.

Chubby Star 15-1

Has placed in five of eight career starts for trainer Horacio DePaz - two wins, two seconds and a third-place finish. Murphy Stakes at Pimlico May 20, an Allowance score at Keeneland in April and a second and a third respectively in a pair of Allowance Optional Claiming races in January. Her other graded stakes result was a sixth in the G3 Miss Grillo Stakes at Belmont Park in October. Chubby Star tries for a first stakes score Friday when he departs from gate 4 with Ricardo Santana aboard.

Super Marina 15-1

Has hit the board in seven of 12 career starts for trainer George Weaver - four wins, a second and two third place finishes. Super Marina has been up and down so far and will be after a little consistency Friday from gate 6. Manuel Franco gets the call.

Fizzy Friday 20-1

British bred Ignacio Correas trained filly has two wins and a second-place finish in four career starts. She enters off a less-than-spectacular fifth in her stakes debut - a fifth in the G3 Regret Stakes at Churchill Downs June 17 which followed a second in an Allowance on that track May 29 and two wins at home to start her career. Frizzy Friday looked a tad out of place last time out but will be out to make a statement Friday from gate 2. Jose Lezcano rides.

Corporate Queen 6-1

Main Track Only Entry has a win, a second and a third-place finish in five career starts for trainer Mark Casse. Last time out was a sixth in the G3 Wonder Again Stakes at Belmont Park June 8 which followed an OK third in the G2 Black-Eyed Susan Stakes at Pimlico May 19, a fifth in the G2 Fair Grounds Oaks April 1 and a second in an Allowance Optional Claiming in March.
