Tower of Texas 2-1
Roger Attfield trained gelding has five wins, eighth seconds and three third place finishes in 21 career starts - 20 at Woodbine. He enters off a career-best effort - a win in the G2 Connaught Cup here June 3 after an ugly tenth in the G1 Shadwell Turf Mile at Keeneland in October. Before that were three straight runner-up finishes - just a half-length behind Tepin in the G1 Woodbine Mile and the G3 King Edward Stakes June 2 included. He was away from the track for 10 but prior to that had three wins and two seconds in summer 2015 here - a 2 3/4 length score in the 2015 G2 King Edward and the runner-up finish in the 2015 edition of the G2 Play the King included. He has placed in 10 of his last 12 starts overall and will be after a second straight graded stakes score from post 5 with Eurico Rosa Da Silva aboard.
Monster Bea 3-1
Won the minor Oceanside Stakes atDel Mar last July for trainer Mark Casse and has been largely underwhelming since. Last time out was a second in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Belmont Park June 9 after a seventh in the minor Opening Verse Overnight Stakes at Churchill Downs May 4, a sixth in the G2 Twilight Derby at Santa Anita in November and three straight runner-up finishes in graded stakes action - the G3 Hill Prince Stakes in October, the G2 Del Mar Derby in September and the G3 La Jolla Handicap in August. Monster Bea has placed in just one of his last six starts overall and hopes to hit the board for the first time in graded stakes action Sunday when he leaves from post 3 with Patrick Husbands aboard.

Dragon Bay 5-1
Has placed in nine of 16 career starts for trainer Stuart Simon - four wins, two seconds and three third place finishes. He enters off a nice win in the G2 Eclipse Stakes here May 20 after a fifth in an Allowance at Keeneland April 19, a seventh in the G3 Canadian Turf Stakes at Gulfstream Park March 4, a win in the minor English Channel Stakes at Belmont Park in October and an OK second in the G3 Ontario Derby on this track in September. He failed to hit the board in his previous three starts. Dragon Bay should be a confident entry off his first every graded stakes score and will try to create a streak Sunday from the rail. Unbridled Juan 6-1
Has placed in all 17 career starts for trainer Josie Carroll - four wins, six seconds and seven third place finishes. He made his graded stakes debut last time out and finished third in the G2 Eclipse Stakes on this track May 20 after a third in an Allowance here April 29, a second in the minor Queen's County Stakes at Aqueduct December 17 and a win and consecutive thirds in Allowance Optional Claiming races on New York tracks. Unbridled Juan has been a factor in every career start and hopes to build on a reasonable effort last time out. Luis Contreras gets the call from gate 4.
Hootenanny 8-1
Wesley Ward trainee was terrific in his first six career starts - four wins, a second and a third place finish including a terrific win on the 2014 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf. He has been less-than-spectacular since. Last time out was a fourth in the G3 Hanshin Cup at Arlington May 13 which followed a fifth in the G2 City of Hope Mile at Santa Anita October 8 and an Allowance score at Belterra Park in September. He failed to place in three of four starts prior to that. Hootenanny has shown some serious form in races around the world and hopes to regain his early-career form when he departs from the outside post 9. Jose Ortiz rides.
Shakhimat 8-1
Roger Attfield trained gelding has three wins, two seconds and two third place finishes in 10 career starts. He won the G3 Transylvania Stakes at Keeneland in April, 2016 and has been largely unflattering since. Last time out was a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming here May 28 which followed a fifth in a similar race on this track and a ninth in the G2 Shakertown Stakes at Keeneland April 8. Before that was a fifth in the Queen's Plate on this track last July and a second in the minor Plate Trial a month prior to that. Shakhimat tries to snap a six race losing streak and hopes to hit the board for just the second time in his last five starts when he leaves from gate 6 with Javier Castellano guiding him.
Hollywood Hideaway 10-1
Barbara Minshall trained gelding has three wins, a second and two third place finishes in 12 career starts - all at Woodbine. He enters off a fourth in the G2 Connaught Cup here June 3 which followed a third in an Allowance Optional May 7, an Allowance Optional Claiming score November 4 and a fifth and a second respectively in a trio of Allowance Optional Claiming races last summer. His only other graded stakes start came in September, 2015 when he finished fifth in the G2 Summer Stakes. Hollywood Hideaway has quietly placed in four of his last six starts overall and will aim for a first stakes score from gate 2 Sunday. Rafael Manuel Hernandez is scheduled to ride.
Go Bro 20-1
Has 19 career starts for Michael Keogh with three wins, six seconds and three third place finishes. He arrives off a second in an Allowance Optional Claiming here May 31, a ninth in the minor Jacques Cartier Stakes on this track April 15 and a fifth and a win respectively in a pair of Allowance Optional Claiming races on this track to end his 2016 season. His only graded stakes start came in 2013 when he finished second in the G3 Summer Stakes on this track. Go Bro has been just OK lately and will be after a first stakes score from post 7. Jesse Campbell gets the call.
Ikerrin Road 20-1
Irish bred Vito Armata trained gelding has 16 career starts with five wins, two seconds and two third place finishes. He was just OK at home and has been decent in nine North American starts. Last time out was a Claiming score at Woodbine June 10 after a fifth in an Allowance Optional Claiming June 3 and another Claiming score on this track in May. He failed to place in his previous two. His only graded stakes result was a sixth in the G3 Commonwealth Turf Stakes at Churchill Downs in November. Ikerrin Road ahs been OK against lesser company and hopes it finally translates Satutday when he leaves from gate 8 with Simon Husbands in the reins.
