VASILIKA

Claimed out of a $40,000 win going a mile on turf here 12 starts back on Feb. 11, 2018, this 5-year-old Skipshot mare simply loves to win. A 1 ½ length victor of the Grade III Megahertz, which was run over a "good" turf, Vasilika has employed a stalk and pounce style that is difficult to deny, race in and race out. With Flavien Prat set to ride for the 11th time in a row, Vasilika will try to improve upon a 29-14-4-3 overall mark that has produced earnings of $818,595.

MS BAD BEHAVIOR

Second in her last four starts, this 4-year-old Blame filly will be ridden back by Mike Smith, who will again try to ration her considerable early speed. Off at 4-1 versus a 3-5 Vasilika in the Megahertz last time out, Ms Bad Behavior should be a similar price as she tries to turn the tables on her more accomplished rival. As reflected in her overall race record of 14-3-7-2, "seconditis" is a concern.

ZAFFINAH

A hard knocking, consistent 5-year-old Irish-bred mare, she's 3-2-4 from 12 stateside starts for Carava as she seeks her first graded stakes win on Saturday. Third, beaten 1 ½ lengths by Vasilika in the Megahertz, she was a one mile turf allowance winner at Del Mar two starts back on Nov. 24 and could be sitting on a big effort with a recent race under her belt.

With a stalking style similar to the top selection, it would appear she'll need to run the race of her life to win the Buena Vista.

FAHAN MURA

A six-time winner and once second in seven starts over the Santa Anita lawn, this 5-year-old Pennsylvania-bred daughter of English Channel was a gate to wire winner of the Grade III Robert J. Frankel Stakes at 1 1 /8 miles on turf here two starts back on Dec. 29, but was distanced after making the early lead in the Grade I Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational at Gulfstream Park Jan. 26.

With a return home, to firmer footing and a distance at which she's posted seven wins from 15 tries, Fahan Mura will hope to bounce back with a big effort on Saturday.
