HALLANDALE BEACH, FL - Gulfstream Park's 20-cent Rainbow 6 was hit Sunday afternoon by a single bettor for $130,712.80.

The winning ticket - purchased for $64.80 - was 8,9/5,11/7,8,11/3,5,6/5,6,8/1,5,10.

The winning numbers on the Rainbow 6 were 8-5-11-6-8-10. Some bettors were knocked out of the Rainbow 6 when Strong Composition won the eighth race, paying $31.20, and even more were knocked out when Silver Sassy won the ninth race, returning $74.

When racing resumes at Gulfstream Thursday with a first race post of 1:15 p.m., there will be a carryover in the Pick 5 of $20,598.26. Gulfstream will also have mandatory payouts of the Rainbow 6, Pick 5 and Super Hi 5 Saturday, Oct. 3 on the last day of the meet. Saturday's program will feature the $1.75 million Florida Sire Stakes.

The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
