Sunday’s Late Pick 5 Carryover $19,900

MIAMI GARDENS, FL – Gulfstream Park West’s Rainbow 6 was hit Saturday afternoon for $177,521.

The 20-cent wager had not been hit for 19 consecutive programs before Geh Schnell ($11.20), one of three live tickets in the final race, came home a winner.

The winning numbers were 7-9-4-9-11-1. The winning ticket was played on Xpressbet and cost $972.

Winners during Saturday’s Rainbow 6 sequence included Cheech Thunder ($34.20) in the sixth and Wild Winter ($46.40) in the ninth.

The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

While the Rainbow 6 begins again Sunday in the fifth race with a $25,000 maiden claimer at six furlongs, there will be a Late Pick 5 carryover of $19,901.24 beginning in the sixth race.
