Schuylerville Stakes at Saratoga Race Course
Las Vegas, NV - Saratoga Race Course opens this Friday with a pair of graded stakes races. The second on the schedule is the Grade 3 Schuylerville Stakes - a six furlong dash for fillies two years old. $150,000 is on the line for these up-and-coming females.
The Schuylerville has drawn a field of seven fillies to take part in race 9 on Saratoga's Friday card - every one of the seven has recorded a victory and all but one has just one career start under their saddles. Five of the seven are eligible for a $100,000 bonus in the race for the juvenile who broke maiden at Belmont before or Aqueduct before winning at graded stakes race at a NYRA track in 2012 - needless to say the Schuylerville is an important race for the juveniles entered. Post time is 5:30. Here is a look at the seven combatants in the wide open field and their recent performances ahead of this Grade 3 race.
