Las Vegas, NV - Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York will play host to the Grade 3 Schuylerville Stakes on Friday, July 18 - the first stakes race on opening day at the New York track. Fillies, two years old will take to Saratoga's dirt track and dash six furlongs looking for the winner's share of the $150,000 purse.

As the only entry with a stakes win under her belt so far, Fashion Alert looks like the one to catch Friday. John Velazquez rides the overwhelming favorite from post 4 Friday.

Tulira's Star - maiden winner and Richard Mettee trained filly races for just the second time Friday off a 3 1/2 length maiden score with a 88 Beyer Speed Figure (same as Fashion Alert) at Arlington Park June 8. She will have Joe Bravo in the saddle Friday from gate 2 looking to match Fashion Alert but this time in the same race!

Evrybdymstgetstonz - will hit the track for just the second time for trainer Gary Contessa. Her only career start was a good one - a MSW score by six lengths and an OK 59 Beyer Speed Figure at Belmont Park at 23-1 odds July 2. Rosario Montanez will be in the reins from post 3 as Evrybdymstgetstonz races in stakes company for the first time.

Mast Cove - John Robb trained filly makes her stakes debut Friday. She is coming off a win in a Maiden Claiming at Delaware Park June 4 - her third career start after a third and a fifth respectively in a pair of similar races at Pimlico this spring. She has improved every time out and looks to break through in stakes company this weekend with Jose Betancourt in the saddle from the rail.

Take Charge Brandi - has just one career start for trainer D. Wayne Lukas and it was a nice 4 1/2 furlong wire-to-wire maiden win at Churchill Downs June 22. Despite the lack of experience Take Charge Brandi should be competitive in the Schuylerville. Corey Lanerie will be aboard from the outside post Friday
