Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 1 Longines Breeders' Cup Distaff is on tap for this Friday, October 30 from Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky. Some of the best female dirt horses three years old and upward will take to Keeneland's main track and race 1 1/8 miles searching for the winner's share of the $2 million purse.

A full and deep field of 14 will take to the track in the Breeders' Cup Distaff - race 9 on Keeneland's Friday schedule. Post time is 5:35 PM. Here is a look into the past performances of all 14 combatants for this intriguing Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Stakes - a race that will sadly be without defending champ Untapable who spike a fever on Tuesday.

2015 Breeders' Cup Distaff Race Favorite Entries

Wedding Toast 4-1 - Kiaran McLaughlin trained mare has placed in 11 of 12 career starts - eight wins, two seconds and a third place finish. She enters on the heels of a terrific three race win streak - the Grade 1 Beldame Stakes last time out at Belmont Park September 26, by five lengths in the Grade 1 Ogden Phipps Stakes here June 6 and by four lengths in the Grade 2 Ruffian Stakes May 9. Before the wins were a fourth in the Grade 1 Madison Stakes at Keeneland April 4, a third in the Grade 3 Rampart Stakes at Gulfstream February 21, a win in the minor Miami Shores Handicap in January and eight months away. She also had a terrific four race win streak early in her career - the best of which came in the Grade 3 Comely Stakes in November, 2013. Wedding Toast is used to being at or near the top - hopes are that she continues that trend Friday. Jose Lezcano gets the call aboard the hottest entry and morning line favorite from post 7.

Sheer Drama 9-2 - won the minor Thirty Eight Go Go Stakes at Laurel Park in September and went on to a ninth in the minor H.B.P.A Stakes at Presque Isle Downs September 25. She has been consistently good in seven starts in 2015 however (three wins and four second place finishes). Two straight wins ahead of this weekend including the Grade 1 Personal Ensign Stakes at Saratoga August 29 and the Grade 1 Delaware Handicap July 18 followed runner-up finishes in the Grade 2 Fleur de Lis Handicap in June, and La Troienne Stakes in May. She also had a win in the Grade 2 Royal Delta Stakes at Gulfstream in March. Sheer Drama now has 19 career starts overall with six wins, eight seconds and a third place finish and enters this week having been in every race the last nine months - not worse than second in her last seven. Stopchargingmaria 5-1 - multiple graded stakes winning Todd Pletcher trained filly enters off a fourth as favorite in the Grade 1 Personal Ensign Stakes at Saratoga August 29 which followed a two-race Grade 3 winning streak - the Shuvee Handicap August 2 and the Distaff Stakes at Pimlico in May. Before that she had consecutive runner-up finishes - the Grade 1 Madison Stakes at Keeneland in April and in the Grade 1 Beldame Stakes in her first start against older competition - at Belmont Park way back last September. She also had a three race win streak last summer - the Grade 1 Alabama Stakes in August, the Grade 2 Black-Eyed Susan Stakes at Pimlico May 16 and in dominating fashion in the Grade 1 Coaching Club American Oaks by five lengths July 20. Stopchargingmaria now has eight wins (seven graded stakes), three seconds and a third place finish in 15 career starts and has five wins and two seconds in her last eight -competitive the last 18 months. Javier Castellano will be in the irons Friday from gate 4 looking to bounce back from an uncharacteristic effort last time out.

Got Lucky 6-1 - has six wins and six second place finishes in 16 career starts for trainer Todd Pletcher and enters off a career best effort - a win on this track in the Grade 1 Juddmonte Spinster Stakes October 4. Before that was a decent second in the Grade 1 Personal Ensign Stakes August 29 and a nice two race win streak - the minor Lady's Secret Stakes August 2 and the Grade 3 Molly Pitcher Stakes July 3 - both results at Monmouth Park by a combined 10 lengths. She also has three runner-up finishes in graded stakes action in 2013/2014. Got Lucky is in the best form of her career ahead of this weekend and could be a sneaky threat after four wins and two seconds place finish in seven starts this year. Irad Ortiz has the mount from gate 12.

I'm a Chatterbox 8-1 - multiple graded stakes winner and Larry Jones trained filly has five wins, two seconds and two third place finishes in 10 career starts. She enters on the heels of a good win - the Grade 1 Cotillion Stakes at Parx September 19 after consecutive seconds - behind Curalina after being DQ'd for interference in the Grade 1 Coaching Club American Oaks July 26 and in the Grade 1 Alabama Stakes at Saratoga August 22. She also had an OK third in the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks May 1 and a three race win streak- the Grade 2 Fair Grounds Oaks March 28, over Lovely Maria in the Grade 3 Rachel Alexandra Stakes February 21 and the minor Silverbulletday Stakes in January - all results at Fair Grounds. I'm a Chatterbox has been impressive indeed and is expected to challenge again Friday. Florent Geroux gets the call from the rail hoping to maintain I'm a Chatterbox's impressive recent run.

Curalina 12-1 - Todd Pletcher trained filly has been very good in her seven career starts - four wins, two seconds and a third place finish. She debuted last July and finished second and went on to four straight wins. She won the Grade 1 Coaching Club American Oaks over I'm a Chatterbox July 26 after wins in the Grade 1 Acorn Stakes at Belmont Park June 6, an Allowance Optional Claiming score by 8 1/4 lengths May 1 at Churchill Downs and a maiden score in March. Last time out was a second in the Grade 1 Beldame Stakes at Belmont Park September 26 which followed a third in the Grade 1 Alabama Stakes at Saratoga August 22. Curalina looks to keep the impressive roll going when she lines up in gate 8 with Joel Rosario aboard.

Stellar Wind 12-1 - John Sadler pupil broke maiden in her second career start December 18 by an impressive 8 3/4 lengths after a second in her debut - both results at Laurel Park. She enters on a tidy two race win streak- the Grade 3 Torrey Pines Stakes at Del Mar August 30 and the Grade 2 Summertime Oaks at Santa Anita June 20. Before that was a troubled fourth at 3-1 odds in the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks May 1, a terrific win in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Oaks April 4 and an upset 2 3/4 length victory in the Santa Ysabel Stakes at 7-1 odds February 28. She now has five wins and a third place finish in seven career starts and looks great ahead of this weekend. Victor Espinoza has been tabbed to ride from gate 9.

My Sweet Addiction 20-1 - Martin Jones trained mare placed in her first six career starts - two wins, two seconds and two third place finishes. She made her graded stakes debut in January and finished sixth in the Grade 2 Santa Monica Stakes. Last time out was a good second in the Grade 1 Zenyatta Stakes at Santa Anita September 26 after a fourth in the Grade 1 Clement L. Hirsch Stakes at Del Mar in August, a disappointing ninth after being eased in the Grade 2 Fleur de Lis Handicap at Churchill Downs June 13 and a terrific two-race win streak - the Grade 1 Vanity Stakes over Warren's Veneda May 9 at Santa Anita and an Allowance Optional Claiming March 20. Yahilwa 20-1 - had 13 starts in Britain with two wins, a second and four third place finishes before her North American debut - a fourth in an Allowance Optional Claiming January 26, 2014. She has since raced in graded stakes company 11 times and has placed in five - a third last time out in the Grade 1 Juddmonte Spinster Stakes on this track last time out October 4, a second in the Grade 1 Clement L. Hirsch Stake at Del Mar August 1 and a win five starts back in the Grade 3 Sixty Sails Handicap at Hawthorne being her best career results. She also posted a runner-up finish in the Grade 3 Distaff Stakes at Pimlico May 15 and two straight wins - the $200,000 Treasure Chest Stakes at Delta Downs November 22 and a 3 1/2 length score as favorite in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Santa Anita last October 29. She now has 30 career starts with six wins, five seconds and five third place finishes and enters having placed in four of her last five starts overall. James Graham has the mount on tough-to-figure-out Yahilwa from post 10.

Warren's Veneda 30-1 - Craig Lewis trained had looked unstoppable before her last five starts overall - a seventh place finish last time out in the Grade 1 Zenyatta Stakes September 26 followed an OK third in the Grade 1 Clement L. Hirsch Stakes in August, a fourth in the Grade 2 Lady M. Stakes at Los Alamitos July 11, a second to Beholder in the Grade 2 Adoration Stakes June 13 and a disappointing third as 1-10 favorite in the Grade 1 Vanity Stakes May 9. Before that was an impressive three race win streak - by 7 1/4 lengths with a 100 Beyer Speed Figure in the Grade 1 Santa Margarita Stakes March 14, by 3 3/4 lengths in the Grade 2 Santa Maria Stakes February 14 and a nice win by 5 1/2 lengths in the minor Paseana Stakes January 11. Warren's Veneda now has eight wins, four seconds and seven third place finishes in 27 career starts but has placed in just one of her last three starts overall. She looks to get back to her winter form when she leaves from post 13 with Tyler Baze in the irons.

Calamity Kate 30-1 - finished second in the Grade 2 Demoiselle Stakes at Aqueduct to end her 2014 campaign in November after a ninth in the Grade 1 Darley Alcibiades in October. She has four starts in 2015 - including a second last time out in the Grade 1 Cotillion Stakes at Parx September 19 and a win at 54-1 odds in the Grade 3 Delaware Oaks July 11. Before that was an eighth in the Grade 1 Acorn Stakes and an Allowance Optional Claiming score in May. Calamity Kate has three wins and two second place finishes in nine career starts and hopes to keep the upward trend going with Edgar Prado in the irons from post 5.

Frivolous 30-1 - has 23 career starts for trainer Victoria Oliver with five wins, four seconds and three third place finishes and enters having posted two wins and a second place finish in her last four starts. Last time out was a fourth place finish in the Grade 1 Juddmonte Spinster Stakes here October 4 after a win by 12 lengths in the minor Locust Grove Stakes at Churchill Downs September 12, a second in the Grade 1 Delaware Handicap in July and a good win over Sheer Drama at 32-1 odds in the Grade 2 Fleur de Lis Handicap at Churchill Downs June 13. Those results followed a disappointing ninth in the Grade 1 La Troienne Stakes, a sixth in an Allowance Optional Claiming in April and another good win in the Grade 2 Falls City Handicap to end her 2014 campaign. Frivolous has been a tad inconsistent and hopes for a bounce back this weekend. Jon Kenton Court gets the call from the outside gate 2.

Peace and War 30-1 - won the Grade 1 Darley Alcibiades Stakes at Keeneland last October but has been a tad inconsistent since. She enters off a third in the Grade 1 Cotillion Stakes at Parx September 19 and consecutive seconds - the best of which was in the Grade 3 Delaware Oaks July 11. Before that was an eighth in the Grade 3 Pat Day Mile in May and a seventh in the Grade 1 Ashland Stakes in April. Peace and War enters in so-so form from post 7 with Drayden Van Dyke in the reins.

Salama 50-1 - has paced in all nine career starts for trainer Charles LoPresti - five wins, two seconds and two third place finishes. She had eight starts in Peru with three stakes wins including the Group 3 Cesar del Rio Suito in June. Salama has one North American start - a second in an Allowance Optional Claiming on this track October 10. She takes a huge step up in competition this week looking pretty good with Julien Leparoux aboard the longest shot in the field from post 3.
