Subtle Indian - impressive Robertino Diodoro trained gelding has seven wins and a second place finish in 10 career starts. He arrives in very good form - a second last time out in the Grade 2 Kona Gold Stakes on this track May 21 followed a four race wins streak - in gate-to-wire fashion by 3 3/4 lengths with a 105 Beyer Speed Figure in the Grade 3 Count Fleet Handicap at Oaklawn Park April 10, the minor Hot Springs Stakes on that track in March and two Allowance Optional Claiming scores to start the year. He has been a factor in every race this year and will try to keep an impressive run going at an untested seven furlong distance from gate 6 Saturday. Mike Smith gets the call.

Coastline - Phil D'Amato trainee has five wins, four seconds and three third place finishes in 21 career starts. He has been decent lately - a fourth last time out in the Grade 2 Kona Gold Stakes here May 21 followed a second behind Kobe's Back two starts back in the Grade 2 San Carlos Stakes here March 12, a nice win in the minor Clocker's Corner Stakes on this track January 24 and a second in the Grade 3 Daytona Stakes here in December. He placed in just one of his previous three starts but has two wins and a second in four starts at this distance. Coastline looks to bounce back after a ho-hum effort last time out and will have Tyler Baze in the reins from the outside gate 8.

Cautious Giant - Kristin Mulhall trained gelding has four wins and six third place finishes in 20 career starts. He has been OK lately - a third last time out in the Grade 2 Kona Gold Stakes here May 21 followed consecutive fourths - the Grade 3 Count Fleet Sprint Handicap at Oaklawn Park April 10 and the Grade 2 San Carlos Stakes on this track in March and another third in the Grade 2 Palos Verdes Stakes here February 7. Before that was a two race win streak - both Allowance Optional Claiming scores in this track - the last coming January 1. Ambitious Brew - Martin Jones trained gelding was second in the 2014 Grade 3 Eddie D Stakes and followed that with a seventh in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint that year. He has been decent since but steps into graded stakes company for the first time in 17 months Saturday. Last time out was a win in the minor Lennyfromalibu Stakes here May 28 after a sixth in the minor California Flag Stakes here in October and a nice win in the minor EB Johnston Stakes at Los Alamitos in September. Two starts back was a huge bounce back however - a win in the Grade 3 American Stakes here May 6 - a result that was followed by a very disappointing sixth last time out in the Grade 1 Shoemaker Mile here June 4. Home Run Kitten has placed in just one of his last five starts overall and although that result was a good one he arrives in less-than-spectacular form. He makes his stakes debut Saturday in career best form - an Allowance Optional Claiming score June 11 followed a second in a similar race May 4 and another win in an Allowance race in April - all results on this track.
