2017 Gulfstream Park Oaks Entries at Gulfstream Park

Tequilita - Michael Matz trained filly finishes seventh in her debut and has placed in all five starts since - three wins and two runner-up finishes. She enters on a terrific three race win streak - the G2 Forward Gal Stakes at 14-1 odds last time out in her graded stakes debut here February 4, the minor Smart Halo Stakes by a length at Laurel Park November 19 and a maiden score at Keeneland in October in her fourth career start. Tequilita has been superb lately and will be after a fourth straight win (second straight graded stakes) and will have Luis Saez in the saddle from gate 2.

Jordan's Henny - Michael Tomlinson trained filly has a win, three seconds and two third place finishes in her eight career starts. She finally broke maiden in her seventh career starts - on this track December 18 and most recently posted a respectable runner-up finish at 19-1 odds behind Miss Sky Warrior in the G2 Davona Dale Stakes here March 4. She also posted a third, a second and another third respectively this past winter in a trio of MSW races and had a fifth before that in her only other graded stakes action to date - the G2 Pocahontas Stakes at Churchill Downs in September. Jordan's Henny has been improving the last six months and hopes to keep that trend going from post 5 Saturday. Corey Lanerie has been tabbed to ride.

Modacious - will hit the track for the fourth time for trainer Robert Reid having posted a win and a second place finish so far. She made her stakes debut last time out and finished an OK fourth after weakening in the G2 Davona Dale Stakes on this track. Before that was a runner-up finish in an Allowance Optional Claiming here February 15 and a win at first asking - at Parx December 26. Modacious has been OK so far and shoots for a first stakes score Saturday with Nik Juarez in the irons from the outside post 9.

Salty - will hit the track for just the third time for trainer Mark Casse having posted a win and a second place finish so far - both results on this track. She broke maiden last time out by 2 1/2 lengths March 5 and posted a runner-up finish in her debut February 4. Salty has improved every time out and hopes to carry the momentum into her major step up in competition. Joel Rosario gets the call from gate 6.

Summer Luck - has a win, a second and two third place finishes in five career starts for trainer Mark Casse. She arrives off an OK third in the G2 Davona Dale Stakes on this track March 4 which followed her only off-the-board finish - a fourth in the G2 Forward Gal Stakes here February 4, a third in the minor Old Hat Stakes here January 7, a maiden score at Churchill Downs November 11 and a second in her debut at Keeneland in October. Summer Luck has been decent so far and will be after a first stakes score from post 3 Saturday. Patrick Husbands gets the call.

Nonna Bella - highly regarded Todd Pletcher trained filly has two career starts and two nice wins. She makes her stakes debut Saturday off an Allowance Optional Claiming score March 10 which followed a maiden score over Salty at first asking February 4 - both on this track. Nonna Bella hasn't been touched so far and tries to remain unbeaten Saturday with John Velazquez guiding her from post 7.

Spring Mist - has a win and a second place finish in four starts for trainer William Deaton - all MSW races at Tampa Bay. She finally broke maiden last time out March 10 after a fourth, a second and a ninth respectively to start her career this past winter. Spring Mist steps up off a career-best effort and hopes to make some noise from gate 4 Saturday with Javier Castellano in the irons.

Shezaprado - Michael Maker trained filly has just one win in her first four career starts which have all come on this track. Last time out was a sixth in the minor Mrs. Presidentress Stakes February 20 after a fifth in a Starter Optional Claiming February 1 and a maiden score January 7. She was fourth in her debut in November. Shezaprado hasn't been all that impressive but hopes to turn things around from gate 8 Saturday with Julien Leparoux scheduled to ride.

Conquest Sorceror - Rasharn Creque trained filly has just a second and two third place finishes in her seven career starts - all MSW races. She steps into stakes company for the first time off a fifth February 19 after a third, a seventh and a fourth in her previous three. Conquest Sorceror has been less-than-spectacular against lesser company and looks as though she will be in over her head in this one. Miguel Angel Vasquez has been tabbed to ride from the rail.
