Last time out was an impressive maiden score September 9 which followed a third in his debut - August 13. Peppered has shown improvement so far and hopes to make the most of his stakes debut Sunday. Luis Contreras has been tabbed to ride the morning line favorite from the outside post 7.
Kevin Attard trained colt has a win and a second-place finish in his two career starts. He steps into graded stakes company for the first time Sunday off an OK second behind Like What I See in the listed Colin Stakes on this track September 2 after a maiden score at first asking - on this track August 13. Piven has been competitive so far and tries to be again from gate 2 with Eurico Rosa Da Silva in the irons of the second betting choice.

Nicholas Gonzalez trained gelding has five career starts with two wins and two second-place finishes. He arrives on a nice two race win streak - the listed, six-furlong Colin Stakes last time out on this track September 2 and a MSW also here August 20. Before that was an OK second in a MSW July 30, a somewhat disappointing sixth in the listed Victoria Stakes here July 8 and a second in his debut June 11. Like What I See has shown some serious improvement and hopes to make it three straight wins in his graded stakes debut - from gate 4 with Emma-Jayne Wilson guiding the most experienced entry in the field and intriguing third choice.
Trainer Mark Casse will send out Lookin to Strike for his third career start. His first resulted in a seventh at Gulfstream July 20 - a result that was followed by a nice maiden score in this track last time out. He significantly improved in his second race and hopes to continue that trend from the rail Sunday. Patrick Husbands will be in the saddle.
Michael Dickinson trained colt has a win and a second-place finish in two career starts. He enters off a maiden score at Laurel Park September 24 which followed a second in a similar race - at Delaware Park July 27. Archaggelos has been good so far and hopes to carry some momentum into his stakes debut. Rafael Manuel Hernandez has the mount from gate 6.
Eoin Harty trained colt has one win in his two career starts - both of which came at Presque Isle Downs. He finished fifth in his debut July 27 and most recently broke maiden August 14. Leopold looked good in his last start and shoots for a first stakes score Sunday from post 5. Gary Boulanger gets the call.
Laurie Silvera trained gelding has just one career start and it was a good one - a maiden score on this track July 1. He tries to makes it two-for two to start his career when he leaves from post 3 Sunday with Omar Moreno aboard.
