The Grade 2 Santa Margarita Stakes is on tap for Santa Anita Park this Saturday March 16. Fillies and mares four years old and upward will be featured as they go 1 1/8 miles on Santa Anita's dirt track. A purse of $300,000 will be on the line.
Three year old Kentucky Derby Hopefuls will go at it in the Grade 2 Rebel Stakes at Oaklawn Park in Arkansas Saturday, March 16. Tampa Bay Downs will host one of two qualifying races along the "Road to the Kentucky Derby" this Saturday, March 9. The Grade 2 Tampa Bay Derby will feature Kentucky Derby hopefuls as they chase the winner's share of the $350,000 purse and the valuable 50 points that come along with the win. The combatants will go 1 1/16 miles on Tampa Bay Downs' dirt track.
