The $3 million Breeders' Cup Turf, run at 1 1/2 miles, is expected to lure POINT OF ENTRY, who has won five in a row and three straight grade 1's; the Man 'o War at Belmont in July, Sword Dancer (GI) at Saratoga in August and "Win and You're In" Turf Classic at Belmont September 29.
The Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf, run at 1 1/4 miles, is shaping up as a stellar supporting act for the Ladies' Classic.
Each year the 2-year-olds bring a certain air of excitement to the Breeders' Cup, with the present meshing with thoughts of the future and this year should be no different as both the 1 1/16-mile Grey Goose Juvenile and Grey Goose Juvenile Fillies are loaded with untapped potential.
The Grade 2 Lexus Raven Run Stakes comes our way this Saturday, October 20 from Keeneland in Lexington Kentucky. Three year old fillies will be featured as they dash seven furlongs on Keeneland's main track in search of their portion of the $250,000 purse.
Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California will be the scene of the Grade 3 Senator Ken Maddy Stakes this Saturday, October 20. Fillies and mares three years old and upwards will be featured in this 6 1/2 furlong dash on Santa Anita's turf track as they chase their share of the $100,000 purse.
The Grade 3 Pin Oak Valley View Stakes is on tap for this Friday, October 19 from Keeneland in Lexington Kentucky. Three year old fillies will be after their share of the $125,000 purse when they go 1 1/16 miles on Keeneland's turf track.

The Grade 3 Sycamore Stakes comes our way from Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky this Thursday, October 18. Horses three years old and upward will be after their share of the $100,000 purse when they go one and a half miles on Keeneland's turf tack.
Another weekend of graded stakes action is in the books - races took place all over North America this weekend with the biggest races taking place at Woodbine just outside of Toronto. Here is a breakdown of what took place in a few of the races at Keeneland, Hawthorne, Belmont Park and Calder - starting with the two huge events at Woodbine on Sunday.
A couple of huge races are on tap for Woodbine in Etobicoke, Ontario this Sunday, October 14. The 75 th edition of the Grade 1 Pattison Canadian International Stakes is one - it will feature horses three years old and upward as they race 1 1/2 miles on Woodbine's turf track in search of their share of the enormous $1.5 million purse and a berth into the Breeders' Cup Turf.
